bigja, thanks for the Whittington report, couple of points:

>>4) Strong Server Demand

He got that right. Servers for ISPs, ASPs, and anyone else driving/receiving information on the Internet, remain the single hottest selling electronic system commodity, according to IDC. Sorry, I don't have a URL on that one, have to trust me.

>>6) MPU's remain "integral" to Internet Servers

This is in the category of well DUH, but maybe it was taken out of context.

Notebooks and servers, two things done right this year by Intel. (OK, still need more 700 MHz Xeons).

Tony

Folks, did you just hear CNBC's report on Wittington. I am very serious about this next statement. I am interested in finding persons who own either AMD or INTC stock prior to Wittington's call last week and sold after his call of last week. If you meet these criteria, I would like you to PM message as I am interested in filing a class action suit against Wittington and BOA. This analyst crap has to stop. It is obvious even to thus blundering fools at CNBC that Wiitington brought the price down so his firm and its clients could load up prior to the upgrade.
