Volume is substantial, and has been moving up over the last week. Thomson shows the interest is largely institutional today, and there's been activity in out of the money calls. All healthy signs... GSR

Dalin, good move. I thought about adding calls on it today when the stock was around 100 but did not---picking another tech stock instead. Maybe JDSU is finally coming to life again. If one looks at QCOM, we have seen rallies on that one as well. These were the 2 big momentum stocks of last year that had hard times this year. The difference was that JDSU never guided analyst down in their earnings or growth---ie there is no bad news for JDSU. I still think it got so over shorted that it is bound for an explosive rally. Maybe some of the funds that sold their JDSU in the past are ready to buy them back--after taking profits on Utilities etc. The big move could from from covering.
