Jacob, I highly respect the fact that you posted a mea culpa on this one. The problem you outlined is why I just buy and hold; if you try to shave a few points here and there, you can be out of the stock those few days when market perception changes and the market realizes the stock is undervalued. Very few of us can time the market very well. Unfortunately for you this time round, you simply misread that the fudd was lifting, the market's perceptions of the fundamentals was changing. In those circumstances, short-term TA (for lack of a better word) is limited in its helpfulness.
