In short they said Cobalt had done it so well, it was right in line with what they would have wished to accomplish on their own. Now they have it in an accelerated time framework at the right time. Cobalt and its customer base will be seemlessly integrated into SUNW. As far as Dell and Compaq goes the reference was to why have stray OSs (like NT boxes) floating around.

True, I'm biased, but I think Sunw has put together all the pieces of the puzzle. The rest will get the scraps.
