But I have learned, and don't disagree - AMD is no Intel.

AMD doesn't announce they're shipping faster than 1 GHZ chips, manage to produce fewer than 1,000 in a month, and then have to recall them all because they don't always work.

AMD didn't have to recall hundreds of thousands of defective motherboards that it built.

AMD didn't have to recall defective server motherboards (profusion based - this time the chipset was OK, they just messed up the motherboard).

AMD didn't have to recall defective MTH chipsets (sold to ASUS and others).

I can't argue with you, AMD is no Intel.
