The high correlation pattern I have been mentioning has worked. Per that pattern the DOW was to close either flat or up, and with the DOW down 11 - thats flat. So its now 11 for 13 for that specific correlation. I had also mentioned the sub-pattern which was 4 for 4 which stated that today the DOW should close up, which it did not.

From this point onwards, 6 of 12 called for a rally and 6 of 12 called for further declines, so no clear direction call per this pattern.

What is important, is that this pattern did produce 13 for 13 for a strong down move in the DOW of a minimum of 100 points. This pattern was the main reason I closed all of my unhedged shorts.
