Well, the bottom line is, my experience with SUNW to date is that these mofos know what they're doing. --- The one thing Sun is, is on their game. -JCJ

I think SUNW did the deal partly to keep DELL and CPQ honest, but I think they could have done it a few months ago at a lower price. Zander could have said to COBT something like this: Milunovich over at Merrill says you guys are only worth $33 in the next 12 months, we'll give you a little more than $33 right now.
