The word around the industry is that WD has been coming on strong this quarter. Quality and yields have improved and OEMs have been giving them good marks - so they could turn it around.

Regarding finances, they are in very good shape. Approx $200m cash, very little debt, and close to turning profitable. But they have expenses ahead of them to ramp up the new ventures of Connex and SageTree.
