The Associated Press this afternoon reported that Gore is now leading in Arizona by 10 percentage points: 46-36%. In Nebraska, however, Bush is still leading by 17 percentage points. Bush had held a 17-point lead in Arizona just four months ago.

Obviously, Gore's message has hit home with America's senior citizens, as reflected in his surging numbers both in Arizona and Florida.

Every time George W. answers a question, I can picture him sinking in the polls. They need to yank him and replace him with Buchanan. Buchanan would make anyone look better, including Bush.
