I wasn't in QCOM at the time, just sat there marvelling at the action. So....just curious - did you sell??

29% increase in a day was nice, but was that really some sort of investment record? < Nothing in the world of investing will ever feel as good as December 29, 1999.

Q closed on 503 on Tuesday, gapped up 59 7/8 on Wednesday's open and closed at 650
for a one day gain of 147 FREAKING DOLLARS!

Once in a lifetime, my friend.

It was fun! It was nice to be able to say that the price was going up many times more than the initial investment, each day. Now, the market capitalisation of Q! from 1998 and early 1999 is traded on a daily basis.
