But to justify the clownbux Sun spent on Cobalt you use the "now" as if it will continue forever. New economy speak requires the use of the absurdity of "now" as though it will be that way forever. You really can't have it both ways.

you HAVE to look ahead...when the semis were hitting their highs six months ago, they were discounting the conditions prevailing NOW. the stock market discounts the future...even if it exaggerates at times...
