the answers: 1) They neded to go public to raise public capital and didnt have the wherewithal to wait until wall st. got interested in the sector. 2) yes, and that is old news and ended in June 1999; well over one year ago. 3) DCH is working on portable fuel cells; PLUG has claimed the residential sized units as their niche. 4) all ships rise with the tide. DCH is becoming accepted as a part of the sector; and is an excellent hedge for smart money managers overloaded on FCEL, PLUG and BLDP; as a fund manager, it is a very smart spread.
