No doubt there are issues with RDRAM power management. There's no question that power juggling hurts RDRAM performance more than necessary. Perhaps Intel and Rambus are actively working on this problem?

<Pure Rambus FUD. A video refresh to DDR will achieve very close to maximum theoretical bandwidth. A bit-blit to DDR will also achieve maximum bandwidth. Preloading a block of contiguous data will similarly achieve peak bandwidth.>

Funny how the anti-Rambus coalition dismissed those very benchmarks which exercise maximum theoretical bandwidths and painted RDRAM in a positive light. Funny how those same tasks become important all-of-a-sudden with the "un-Rambus."
