I am just arguing that I think that AMD fundamentals are stronger (IMHO) now than 2Q ago. You made a point that reflected a reverse opinion.

I did not voice an opinion on any product cause/relationship between chipsets/ramp etc.

By all indications Dresden was ready for production in Q4 1999 (and definitely no later than Q1
2000).


From a fundamental position standpoint (and sleeping soundly standpoint), "ready to ramp" and "is at 30% capacity with yields greater than Austin.." are a world apart. Heck not even the same galaxy- specially with AMD and it's "late mask" fix and other production problems history baggage.

I think you mistook my post to be counter argument for your other points in your post that I was replying to. I reposted the particular point of yours that I disagreed with. Maybe that is why you said:
