LaLa-Man - re:Luminent Buy a copy of this weeks Barron's and show it to the guys "10 miles from Iowamann's west coast residence". Tell me how loud they laugh: good for 100 shares, 1K or 10K ? Bot back MRVC in a hurry: remaining Luminent shares after IPO will be distributed to MRVC shareholders. Despite negative comments of Barron's (lower revenues and earnings), what I have read in the past 6 months reflected a profound change in MRVC's business model. A change of this magnitude can impact the results of a company for a whole year or more. Some companies need more time to take such measures (see CMGI).
