Jill, the JDSU/SDLI deal

. . . . will almost certainly be approved with the DOJ placing some nonsense restriction on it so that its attorneys will look like they have done some work. The problem is that the 3.8 to 1 ratio will need to be closed, at least to a degree. This is so regardless whether there is any market uncertainty regarding the merger.

I realize there were some serious sell orders placed recently on JDSU. Regardless, it's a great company. Actively gobbling up competitors. A force with which to be reckoned this decade. No doubt.

The bottom line is that I am coming to the conclusion that there is simply limited upside potential for JDSU in the mid term and I hold Dec90's. Seriously underwater since June.

I'm only a novice at this. Fortunately, though, I'm attending Qualcomm Anonymous meetings now. So I'm in recovery. hehehe.
