The point is that we are very likely to have another energy supply within 100 yrs, much less 500 yrs. Getting the alternate sources ramped up is another subject, but it can be done.

You and the other posters may be correct. However I have learned not to count on anything until I can hold it in my hand, or in this case, put it in my gas tank.
