Apple sold just over 1M units in their fiscal 3Q (2Q00, apple.com so wouldn't be too big of a jump for AMD. This prospect seems perennial on both AAPL & AMD boards... hopefully the prospect at least keeps a little push on MOT (as well as watching IBM ramp G3 MHz).

I think (not sure) Apple sells less than 6 million boxes a year.

Comment: Like I said earlier, Dell needs AMD more than AMD needs Dell...The prospect of excess demand for "spry Athy" product for the foreseeable future is looming large...Every day Dell waits, they'll be finding themselves further down the queue when the inevitable day does arrive that they do pull the AMD switch...
