Any idea what the die size is for Sparc II?

If this was to be a large volume product, there could be issues with TXN's capacity.

My guess is in manufacturing alone Sparc plus chipset at a minumum will probably be $200 more than Athlon or Pentium of equal performance (due to 3rd party foundry, larger die size, and poor yeilds).

For a low end product, I think only a commodity product makes sense. This goes for Sparc, POWER, Alpha, and PA-RISC.
