Great post Maurice. You are right on target in my opinion. He'll let the shorts pay for this 100 million too...pretty clever. I'd say you are right on target with Thanksgiving.

Well Mq, so much for the "Brilliant Bernie draining the shorts" theory. That is NOT the case. The current $105 million serial sale has seen a good slide in price right back towards the all time lows with more shares to come on sale for weeks. The lower it goes, the more the shares to be sold, the more the dilution.

This does NOT look like a financing any better than you could arrange by phoning three stock merchants. <If it all turns to nothing and things go badly, Globalstar can always leave the Bear deal and just go to the service providers or Q! with a 'Well, we really do need more money now' deal at $7 a share. >

Looks as though that's exactly where we are but the Bear deal is as good as we get. No sign of brilliance in the firmament.

Meanwhile, I noticed Anthony@Pacific in the Hot Topics SI list, so went and had a look. I saw collectivist, follow-the-leader, Moonie-type cult behaviour.

According to Anthony@'s own website, he was a convicted felon in 1993 [or maybe it was 1994] - his crime resulting from depression. Now, he is out of jail after being convicted for fraud [if I believe the pixilated people and Anthony@ who populate that pixelated place in SI where the cult resides].

Let's name a few in the cult who seem to share Anthony@'s dislike of Globalstar:

Mama Bear - a surprising cult member given alleged Libertarian belief system though some Libs do have some cult-like attitudes such as gross denigration of others.

Jetter - not at all surprising given the quality of Jetter's periodic posts.

LG - a normally reasonable sounding person but TA mysticism gives the lie to that.

Sir Auric Goldfinger - who is a specially nasty piece of work [from PMs he seemed determined to keep sending me] though I did enjoy his 'play chicken by throwing the steering wheel out the window' post.

Impristine is in there.

Puck - trying the Klub on for size.

jduffy - this cult member wrote: <I can identify it for you, but for now I suggest you just watch, listen, learn, and thank your higher power for having the opportunity to do so.> in regard to Anthony@ which is real cult sycophant talk.

Hmmm, interestingly, other than Jetter [and maybe Puck] they seem a specially intelligent bunch.

I wonder why Anthony@ fixated on Globalstar so fast after being out of jail. Given the MSFT trial and the GGMDM comments by Bill, I understand that it is very easy to be jailed in the USA [or anywhere for that matter] for things which bear no relationship to creating a victim and are not necessarily even illegal [other than a judge or jury or lynch mob says so].

Anyway, I expect we will see some marauding into Globalstar. Let's hope they don't continue to pollute the good thread with drivel [like Jetter's, Anthony@'s etc]

Anthony@ url anthonypacific.com says <Before starting his crusade to assist the public Anthony recieved [sic] compensation from his private insurance Company, while sufferiung [sic] from depression, this resulted in a felony. dictionary.com This matter is unrelated to his securities activities, and occurred in 1993-1994. > That sounds as though a felony is something which happens by accident. A felony happened. A fraud occurred. A jail sentence was.

This is the leader of the cult. This is the person who will uncover scams, penetrate another layer of hype and make the world a better place. Okay, maybe the courts got it wrong, which I acknowledge can happen. But really! For some reason, Anthony@ says Globalstar is going to zero and his acolytes are starting to chant and pollute the good thread with cult comment rather than information and ideas. Maybe they could come here, where TA reigns supreme.

Anthony@ claims 'The Bonds Say It All'. Last I heard, bonds don't talk and anyway, if bondholders are automatically so smart, how come they are underwater but original shareholders are still ahead of the game? The price of bonds or shares is not a good surrogate for thinking. To suggest to investors that they use the price of bonds as the primary indicator of whether to invest [or short] is irresponsible and not a sign of a good cult leader who will take you to the Space Ship behind comet Hale-Bopp. obs.misato.wakayama.jp

If the cult has decided to focus on Globalstar, let's face the fact and find out if there's anything more to it than 'pile on' crowd behaviour.

Welcome back Anthony@. Good luck with saving the world from crime, scam, hype and fraud. Why do you think G! is going to zero?
