But, there is a silver lining about partial birth abortion. The hopelessly deformed fetus, who has little chance of survival, goes up to Heaven, whole and perfect, where his soul can spend an eternity of joy, fun and games. By our lowly human standards, abortion might be an unpleasant choice, but, by Heavenly standards, shipping the fetus soul to Heaven is a blessed event! << No policeman was ever killed with a teflon bullet. >> The number one cause of death among police is from guns. A cop is killed, on average in the U.S., every two days. America has become a gun happy, violent country. My first priority would be to enforce current gun laws, increase penalties for violent crimes, significantly cut prison costs, eliminate free legal help for convicted felons, keep juvenile felony files open and active, and to make it very difficult for convicted felons to get a gun. Neither candidate offers these solutions. However, abortion rights are safer under Gore than under Bush, and Democrats in the White House have given us 8 of the best economic years in the history of the U.S. Might as well stay with a winner.
