Pomp, I cannot understand how DDR will survive much less prosper if a customer cannot buy product with absolute assurance that he will receive what he believes he purchased. If incompatibilities do pop up, it'll be interesting to see how much coverage it gets in EET, EBN, The Reg, et cetera. Dave

It'll be the OEM's responsibility to go out there, look for DDR DIMMs which are compatible with the systems they're building, and validate their functionality. Tenchusatsu
