WAR in 2.05 see what happnes..... stockhouse.ca WARATAH PHARMACEUTICALS INC ("WAR-V") - Closes $8.5 Million Initial Public Offering in Canada Waratah Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Waratah) announced the closing of its initial public offering on the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX). Gross proceeds of $8.5 million were raised through the issuance of 10,000,000 shares sold as part of this offering and distributed in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Yorkton Securities Inc. acted as lead agent for the offering with Canaccord Capital Corporation acting as co-agent. The offering also qualified 4,000,000 common shares and 4,000,000 warrants underlying special warrants previously issued by Waratah. Trading of the common shares will begin on September 20, 2000, under the trading symbol "WAR".
