Bilow,
I track about 50 stocks. 10 of those I own and the others are in the same industry as those 10. I like to track industry trends and news that could possibly affect my own 10. Those 50, with everything else that I mentioned that I run put a hell of a strain in my system and use a lot more than 50K baud. Looking at my Firewall data from yesterday I see that 409MB of data was received. For a 16 hour average day that puts it on average at more than 400+K baud.

Bilow,
One more thing. If you haven't yet used Yahoo FinanceVision, you should. It is, in my view, where the future of interactive TV and the net are heading. With a broadband connection, you get a large screen, great video and audio quality, live interactive charts based on the news that are being discussed, interact with their guest analysts (ask questions etc.. live) and more. This is on top of everything else that I mentioned is going on. It puts in perspective where PCs are today and are heading going forward. Great stuff. I only wish I had a 1.5GHz P4 in my hands right now. I can use all the bandwidth I can get.
