I take my family to New York a couple of times a year. We used to stay at a hotel across from Lincoln Center, and walk around the Center in the evening, when there would be dancing in the plaza. A couple of years ago, my son's high school chorus sang in the plaza, for a lunchtime program. I chaperoned, and as I watched them sing, I could "see" my wife and me, with our little boy, holding his hand as we showed him around the complex of buildings at the Center. I got a little misty eyed........
