Hyundai Group (Q.HGP) has attracted over $1 billion in investment from the
Japanese financial institution JVIC for its infrastructure project in North
Korea, the Korea Times reports.

Representatives of China Unicom Co. arrived in Seoul Tuesday for talks
with Shinsegi Telecomm on forging cooperation in code division multiple
access, or CDMA, technology, the Korea Times reports.

Renault Samsung Motors, the Franco-Korean joint venture that succeeded
the insolvent Samsung Motors, plans to introduce four to five models within a
few years, in addition to the continued production of Samsung's existing SM5
sedans, the Korea Times reports.

Hyundai Precision Industries CO. (Q.HPM) said it was joining hands with
DHL International to provide "door-to-door" service for its customers in
North Korea, the Korea Herald reports.

South Korea's exports of semiconductors reached $2.56 billion in August, the
largest-ever figure for a single month, despite the fall in the global prices of
dynamic random access memory chips, the Digital Times reports.

Korea Aerospace Industries, or KAI, has won a long-term contract valued
at $250 million to produce B-757 tail wing parts for Vought Corp. of the
U.S., the Korea Herald reported.

Hanjin Shipping (Q.HSP) will add Malaysia's Port Kelang to its Asia-Middle
East-Mediterranean-America, or AMA, route in response to a recent
increase in cargo volume between Malaysia, the Middle East and the
Mediterranean, the Korea Herald reports.

Creditors of Saehan Media Corp. (Q.SHM) decided to convert debts of 75
billion won ($1=KRW1,125.8) into equity investment as a part of a debt
workout program finalized for the troubled company, the Seoul Economic
Daily reports.
