What we need is competence, an intellect, and experience

Well, I guess this administration has been "accused" of possessing all of those traits (although experience is a relative term given their performance when they first came into office)..

And despite the past 8 years of Clinton/Gore, we're seeing Gore tell us that we need this, we need that... and NOT accepting the responsibility for not having achieved it over the past 8 years...

It's called demagogueing the issues....

And I'm sick of demagogues in the White House...

At least Bush apparently has a conscience... The media made a big deal about the "Rats" issue, claiming that it was allegedly was intentional subliminal advertising.... and Bush was concerned that people would actually think he would intentionally engage in such a ploy...

But no one seems to care that Gore was sticking it to wealthy ambulance chasing lawyers for $100K a pop in exchange for vetoing tort reform.....

And Gore has learned well from his patron, Slick Willy... Just ignore the questions and they will eventually go away...

And if they don't, then just use evasive legalistic terms like "it depends on what the definition of "is" is..

Or... there was no controlling authority....

But the truth that most folks ignore is simply... why did Tennessee elect a Republican Senator to replace good 'ol Al (despite Al's active support of the democratic candidate)?? Did he leave that much of a bad taste in voter's mouths that they totally disdained the traditional democratic powerbase in that state?

And why is Republican Mike Huckabee now governor of Arkansas??

What is it that the people who "experienced" their "leadership" know that we don't??

We're they supportive of Clinton/Gore merely as a ploy to get these two out of their respective states, and "kicked upstairs"?

Btw, Bush ain't no dummy... He's the stereotypical savvy Texan who acts dummer than he actually is...

Remember the truism... "act like an idiot so everyone else will treat you as an equal"... and you will go far in life...

Regards,

Ron

Do you not consider character, leadership, integrity, track record? Do you consider a person who tries to make themselves into a product that will be most appealing a plus for your vote? Does it feel comfortable to you to know the person you are voting for is telling you what you want to hear and not what they really feel nor what they will really do? Are you limp with submission to Clinton and Gore? Can they tell you anything they want and you say, "Yes, Sir, Boss, Sir?"
