Bill, Considering the negativity out there, this market should have tanked yesterday and this morning.
I still think those that wanted to sell the tech stocks have already done so. These people probably moved out temporarily, hoping to get in at lower prices. The only ones that I think will benefit are the ones that dumped at the end of last month. I also think these people along with those that dumped in June/July, are in the market buying up for the fall/winter rally. They probably recognize that oil is a temporary problem and that one should seize the opportunity to buy techs while the media plays the oil "crisis".

They also probably figured out that the euro ecomonies are recovering and should do better with a weakened currency---meaning the euro will be rebounding soon.

Once this type of news gets played in a positive way, the markets (especially tech) should move up in a huge way and that is why those sitting on cash will try to buy techs at the current low prices, IMHO. That could create the panic buying.

IMHO, it is too late to sell the tech stocks right now.
