The Two Yogis,
Well, Veritas just bounced off of 139 again--the third time. Question is, will it pull through it this time? If so, seems like the 150s are in the cards.

Meanwhile the discount between Seagate and Veritas continues to grow as the Veritas gets higher. At 138, the .46 shares of VRTS would be worth about $64, plus the roughly $6 or so in cash would make the deal worth about $70 in all. Seagate only got to 65 and change on this latest run. Perhaps this is a reason why Veritas has such a hard time getting over 140--arbs come in when the spread is so large. But while I see Veritas going down, I don't see Seagate going up to close the gap.
