This trading activity today is just noise. Negative DJ article from last night reposted on the system this morning. That article as was pointed out by others on this board was total crap. No IFN/data mentioned, is just one example of how far the article missed the mark. The article is wrong. DJ's journalists make unrepentant mistakes as a matter of course-remember they are selling headlines, not truth.

From a technical perspective, the stock is just retesting the spot from which it broke out of last week. We should pop up from here, stabilize and then rebuild positive momentum coming into the Oct. 12th CC.

In addition to construe what happened yesterday as a negative is ludicrous. G* gets more financing courtesy of short sellers positions at major US brokerage firms. Very positive, little to no dilution (DJ is wrong), no $ from LOR, win-win-win. The movement over the past three days is buying the rumor and selling the resultant news mostly. That's about it.

Yes, but what does G* think of its own prospects- what are they signalling by way of this deal? Sounds like they are registering a bit of uncertainty here about their own financial stability, or am I reading it wrong? I'm interested in this stock's story, but admit I don't know what this deal really means.
