Gottfried, I saw that about Dell saying lower prices for components would help them cut their PC prices. Only mentions DRAM, but I think maybe also microprocessors might be getting cheaper. Intel seems to be cranking up the volume, allowing them to cut prices some. A related article on the P4 and estimated prices for it, resulting possible cuts for PIII. Bear in mind that you need to take what the Register says with an iceberg sized chunk of salt.
