One condition that is missing is others in the sector doing well to confirm the move in QCOM. I expect the carrier group not to do well because of stiff market share competition among CDMA as well as other carriers. Lower prices will drive growth for QCOM and be a net positive. Similarly the GSM camp will see their growth slow as CDMA makes inroads into China and other places. Both of these will be positives for QCOM while being negative for the sector.JMHO
