I haven't been paying enough attention lately. Is this breakup really just the old IFMX and old Ardent (except that the old Ardent got a huge infusion of cash from the old IFMX)?

Bert Hochefeld at Josephthal argued about a month ago that using reasonable comparables, the sum of the parts at IFMX was in the $20 range. IMHO he is right.

If he is right, then the acquisition/merger earlier this year was a mistake. This is fascinating - first do, then undo what was done and blow over a $100M in the process (as Peter pointed out in his post).

Oh, and bury the little detail about lower revenue projections and projected losses in the middle of the press release as though nobody would notice. Sheeesh!
