They also should pass a global law that requires all Costco parking spaces be no larger than enough to fit a Ford Fiesta. Tickets will be $ 50 in the case of an infraction.

Maybe 10% of all SUV drivers actually have need of SUV features that could be just as well served by driving a pick up truck...but that isn't a fashion statement, now is it? Men are just as guilty on the fashion issue as women in this case. I have yet to meet a guy who drives an SUV who really needs an SUV. Even the Northwoods hunters I know don't go OFF-ROAD. They don't have the proper equipment (winch) and admit to not wanting to bang-up their machine.
