Market making shouldn't be affected unless a transaction is announced. The wall comes into play if they bring SA over the wall and give him nonpublic info. In that situation he would likely be personally restricted from recommending the stock while in possession of such info. Once a deal is announced the company would likely put NITE on its "restricted" list. If the firm hasn't brought SA OTW then they'll likely keep close tabs on what he says.
