Re Whereabouts of RS I recollect that he was going on vacation, a european vacation I think. He had asked on this thread for info on inexpensive ways to phone the US from there, and got some useful responses.

Pierre: The reason that the BS financing is viewed as a negative is the question as to why G* did it. BLS has repeatedly said that partner financing was forthcoming (as is a C* partner <g>). This deal for $100 million (which is, basically, G's quarterly burn rate) makes one scratch his head as to whether the partner financing is actually available (this, imo, is why Loral is down--if no partner financing exists, Loral is once again left being stared at by G for cash, even though BLS said that any more G* cash infusions would be minimal). Bradley: You bought BLS' promise about partner financing hook, line and sinker. What's your opinion as to why G* did this if such financing is really on the way?
