Bosco:

Basicaly ADCs purchase of Broadband Access tells us that ATT (and others such as AOL) want DOCSIS 1.1 voice systems.

Now ATT (and others)always want at least two suppliers. They picked NT/ANTC as the first supplier. This now tells us that ADC, already supplying Media One, will likely be that second supplier: why else would they spend 2.25 Billion for Broadband Access?

This mostly hurts Tellabs, I suppose, unless they are also a "second source" supplier for ATT.

I suspect this is good news for both of your stocks. Voice over cable is a very good market long term, but the market always over reacts short term. In fact your strategy of owning both sounds prudent.
