Glenn, could this be bad for Phone.com?

James,

Not at all. PHCM is doing very well in Europe. I would take anything said by anyone connected with Amazon with a grain of salt. Amazon has been wrong about so many things so far it is alamost a perfect record. I would be here forever pointing out their mistakes. If they had not been able to raise so much cash from the equity markets which I attribute to KP and Morgan Stanley, they would have been long gone.

Amazon has spent a billion dollars on distriubtion centers in the US give or take a few hundred million. Amazon now states the environment for pure e-commerce in the US is not that good. Why did they not use that money in Europe and Japan instead? Possibly, Amazon is not doing well with wireless orders and BOL is. BOL has been doing that for about a year now. Thank you for pointing out though.

I am afraid SI would run out of disk space if I listed all of Amazon's short comings. It does seem the market is starting agree since PHCM is up again today and Amazon is falling hard.

By the way, BOL will be spinning off some of their e-commerce units and I plan on buying a part of that. I suspect Merrill Lynch will handle that. Maybe we can work together in getting some IPO shares.
