Darleen,
at some point, the US dollar will go down. When? No one here is sure. Is gold a decent hedge against that move, at this point? I'm not sure. As Bob & I've written, I think XAU & gold are at or near bottom. That does not say, though, that an explosive move up has started.

who know, there may never be an explosive move in gold.
