LG, No offence but if I'd followed your "Nine Rules" I'd been stopped out of so many positions that I'd have allot less than I have now. I'm up 18X on my four year INVESTMENT in SUNW alone. For me mkt timing or trading or what ever has not worked. I've tried and have made much much more with the LTBH strategy. My main rule is - understand the Company and their technology well enough that you can keep the faith when the sales occur and then shop those sales. My largest mistakes have occurred when I got into something I really didn't understand. No doubt in my mind that NTAP will be much higher a year from now and I'm not going to risk being left behind and increase my TAX liability in the process. I wish you well with your trading but I'll stick with my LTBH. BTW, WHEN I STARTED THIS POST WE WERE AT 134 WE'RE NOW OVER 140. How can you ever time this? How many sold at 135 and now want to chase after it? briank
