When I mention the overall market I mainly refer to the the main 3, DOW/SPX/NAZ and I consider them basicly as equals. I realise from a fundamental view that the HiTECHs leads in the area of growth, but from a purely technical view per my system, if one gets too far ahead of the other in either direction, there is a force that brings the one out of line back in line to some degree. So you can say that I do use the divergences as an important part of my analysis.

As for other indicies, I view them as sub indices
