Hi Tiger. It is not the Christian position that either the King James, or Martin Luther's German translation are infallible. It is the original autographs that God breathed and are therefore infallible because God cannot lie. Articles 9+10 from the Chicago Statement on Biblical inerrancy read as follows. "We affirm that inspiration, though not conferring omniscience, guaranteed true and trustworthy utterance on all matters of which the Biblical authors were moved to speak and write."
