Dear Proggy: Yes, I agree. I believe something like 90% of puts expire worthless. I think they are really only that useful for traders and straddlers. But, those people who really know the game in options have a heck of a lot more knowledge and experience then most of us. We are better off IMHO with stop loss orders if protection is our thing. Like Charles and others here, I believe in the technology and will there will always be ups and downs in the stock price the key is to watch the MACRO environment and the BIG PICTURE. IMHO the internet is the 2nd Industrial Revolution as I have said often here, and the One Freakin Web tone switch (as Scott says) is they way to go IMHO. That is the big picture to me and every knowledgable executive including those not related to SUNW seem to agree with that, so why shouldnt I? JDN
