Interesting that the biggest use of energy in the U.S. is now to cool rather than to heat. Of course that effort produces more heat and sets off a spiral requiring even more energy to cool with and thus produces more heat etc. etc. Regardless of any technology forthcoming, the big problem is population. Aids is starting to empty Africa. Aids or something even worse will begin eating all the two legged meat in Asia, Europe and the Americas soon. There is more protoplasm concentrated in human form than there ever has been in any other similar sized animal that has existed on Earth. Dinner is served.
