OTNo doubt a nice guy but the perception is that he is just not bright enough for the job. I can get around that by looking at his probable advisors--a great group. But many Americans cant get over a perceived intelligence gap between him and Gore. The debates will determine this election I believe and although I had accepted Gore I am now undecided again and waiting to see how Bush will make the tax cut argument work to his advantage. First step will be to trim it somewhat so it will be realistic. Trickle down will not sell but to use his term real cuts for real people in the middle class is essential to Bush's success.
