In a normal world, bonds are cheap (interest rates high) in a high inflation environment. So if the market started to sell bonds (bottom in yield), maybe they don't believe "no inflation" story from the government?

What do I think about all that? Trading in the stock and bond markets is derivative-based, so many large parties are interested in keeping things "at bay". At some point Hell will break loose. This will result in massive defaults. There is no telling how low the stock and bond markets go, or how high gold flies. The crisis will likely be inflationary, as the world will loose faith in USD. The market(s) will go much lower than most would expect. But that's only if the control is lost. Everything is under control so far.
