Wood stove sounds like a good idea.

CMRC>who knows. That is why I have chosen to just hold the thing. It seems to move when you least expect it.

Oil>I still say that we aren't using anymore oil than we were this time last year and that the oil prices are inflated due to speculation. When the market realizes this I think oil will crash hard. JMHO

Tim,
If I may interject, go with an outside wood boiler if you are serious. I burned wood for years in the basement. Wood mess and bugs galore + soot throughout the house not to speak of the insurance deal (many won't take an inside burner anymore) or chimney fires.
