Well, I figured about a year but, OK.

The other thing Intel could do is "assist" a third party to make a P4-DDR chipset. Basically give them what they already know.
Either way, Intel is up the creek...but they might be better off helping a 3rd party.
Of course the DRAM makers could facilitate this by simply refusing to make DRDRAM. If Rambus jacked up the royalties on DDR and SDRAM in turn, they might have a stronger anti- trust case.
