It may be difficult to accept, but some questions regarding financing just can't be answered in the present. Plans though, can be made. Bear Stearns is PART of a plan. Sorry if my tone is less than enthusiastic for deals like this. I may simply be too jaded to objectively look at the big picture. If the BS deal is part of additional funding, then the deal can work out well. BLS is a great financier, that much is a given. As was posted by someone else, BLS may in fact be using the BS deal as leverage to show the SPs that Loral won't blindly put more money into G*. One thing's for sure, the next 6 - 9 months will be interesting. Perhaps it's a good thing that daily / weekly MOUs are not put on the web site. Imagine how much time would be "wasted" by people overanalyzing short term movements in MOU (e.g., if a Canadian trucker talked from coast-to-coast one week).
