Maybe it's now usual to "launch" products well ahead of schedule (ALI did the same thing with its DDR chipset one month ago) but you can't buy KT266 chipsets right now. Please keep in mind that PM266 was also already "launched" (including pricing) but it won't be available before Q4. I don't know of any otherboard manufacturer's roadmap with KT266 boards that early.>

Hmm... after reading some more stuff on this topic at VIA, and other sites, I agree with you that it could be just a paper launch. I suspect VIA is feeling the heat from the recent news of the AMD, Nvidia, and ALI chipsets.
